Welcome to our education hub!
Our aim is to educate, raise awareness and break stigma surrounding gynaecological health. As part of our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing, this hub provides clear, accessible and trustworthy information on common gynaecological conditions, symptoms and when to seek support.
What are Gynaecological diseases?
Gynaecological diseases are diseases of the female reproductive organs which are considered a public health and social problem. All of these diseases significantly impact women's quality of life, and many of them still lack efficient treatment plans. (MDPI)
1 in 3 women suffer from reproductive or gynaecological problems in the UK and yet only 2% of UK medical research funding is spent on women’s health so is therefore heavily underfunded. (pureunityhealth.co.uk)
3 Major Gynaecological diseases
Gynaecological conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS and uterine fibroids affect millions of women, yet many still experience delays in diagnosis, limited information and a lack of support. Understanding symptoms, knowing when to seek help and having access to reliable, evidence based information are essential first steps toward better health outcomes.
FemVitals’ education hub exists to help close this knowledge gap. By providing clear, trustworthy information, we aim to empower individuals to better understand their bodies, advocate for their health and feel less alone in their experiences. While this hub is not a substitute for medical advice, it is designed to support informed conversations with healthcare professionals.
You deserve to be listened to, supported and taken seriously. Learning about your health is a powerful step toward confidence, wellbeing and long term care.
